Sunken Meadow State Park

Apparently there's a lot of piedemontite in the sand at Sunken Meadow State Park.

We found a wee helpless seahorse. He seemed to be barely alive, gasping for air, so we got him back into the water, though he didn't look like he was going to make it :(

Amy with the dogs.

Julianna walking next to what the park website calls "bluffs" but what I would call "crumbling sand dunes."

Neon is natural.

Amy again.

There's a shallow canal separating the forested part of the park from the seashore, which had frozen over.
